Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised German real estate company D.V.I. Deutsche Vermögens- und Immobilienverwaltungs GmbH (DVI) on the capital markets and corporate law aspects of its inaugural issuance of a green bond.
The €350 million green bond, which has been listed on the Official List of The International Stock Exchange, has a fixed coupon of 4.875% and matures in 2030.White & Case also advised DVI on a concurrent tender offer for the cash acquisition of DVI’s outstanding 2.500% €350 million existing bond due 2027.
The proceeds from the issuance of the green bond will be used to finance the concurrent tender in relation to the existing bond. DVI will further allocate an amount equivalent to the net proceeds for the re-financing of certain eligible green projects in line with DVI’s Green Finance Framework.
