Rosie Rickett returns to Cheshire to take on senior Savills role

Rosie Rickett

Savills has strengthened its residential sales team in Cheshire with the appointment of Rosie Rickett, who takes on the role of head of office at Savills Chester, based on Lower Bridge Street in the city.

Rickett, who now lives in Malpas, joined Savills in 2019 and initially spent three years working across the region’s sales market. In 2022, she moved to London with the firm where her role has been dedicated to selling prime country houses. Alongside this role, Rickett is also a key member of the Savills equestrian team, specialising in selling everything from small paddocks to vast country estates, and from livery yards to equestrian centres.

Charlie Kannreuther, who has been instrumental in leading the Savills residential sales team in Chester since 2012 will still hold a key role in the region, specialising in the sale of country houses across Cheshire, the North West and the wider North of England, with Cheshire as his base. Rosie will be supported by an experienced team including Pauline Kay who has over 25 years’ experience in selling property across Chester and surrounding villages, and Jamie Bradshaw who specialises in selling property on the Wirral.

Rickett said: “To be given the opportunity to lead such a high performing and experienced team in the part of the world where I grew up is a huge privilege. Under Charlie’s leadership, our Chester office has been instructed on many of the area’s finest properties and I look forward to working with him and the team to continue to build on this.”

Cameron Ewer, head of residential sales in the North West of England, added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Charlie for his outstanding contribution as head of the Chester office and residential team for more than a decade, whilst congratulating Rosie on her richly deserved new role and welcoming her back to her home county.

“Rosie has recently graduated from one of Savills internal management programmes for maximising potential, aimed at our future leaders, which makes this a particularly exciting appointment. I have no doubt that Rosie will work closely with Charlie and rest of the experienced Chester team to continue to build on the strong reputation that they have established over the years and ensure the service we provide our clients remains best in class.”

United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes new senior director – sales

Wai Kit Chan

United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the appointment of Wai Kit Chan as senior sales director – a strategic move that bridges the UK and East Asian markets.

Chan specialises in super-prime real estate across the Asia Pacific region, Europe, and the UK, with a particular focus on high-end residential properties and new build developments.

Chan was the highest-billing agent at Savills UK’s APAC desk for four consecutive years, orchestrating lucrative sales across London’s most exclusive postcodes and delivering bespoke services for high-net-worth clients hailing from the Asia Pacific.

Fluent in English, Chinese, Cantonese, and Malay, Cahn is uniquely positioned to connect the UK with both the South East and East Asian markets.

Chan commented: “Prime real estate is more than just transactions – it’s about connecting people with properties that truly resonate with them. Having had the privilege of working with countless individuals striving to put down roots in the UK, I understand the importance of bridging cultural values with the perfect home. This is why I am delighted to join United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, with its vast international network and incredible legacy. Its global ethos aligns perfectly with my values, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”

Mark Richards appointed sales director at Conveyancing Alliance

Mark Richards

Conveyancing Alliance (CAL), part of Movera, has promoted Mark Richards to sales director. The appointment follows four years of transformational impact by Richards as area director, during which he established and rapidly grew CAL’s presence across Wales and the South West of England.

Richards, who joined CAL in 2020, built a broker base in the region from the ground up, growing it to nearly 500 brokers in four years. With a career spanning three decades in financial services, including senior leadership roles at Principality Building Society and HSBC, Richards brings deep industry expertise.

In his new role, Richards will lead CAL’s team of area directors.

He said: “CAL’s journey in recent years has been extraordinary, and I’m proud to have played a part in that growth. As Sales Director, my focus will be on supporting and developing our people in order to accelerate our expansion, listening closely to the needs of our brokers and estate agents, and delivering a service so strong that working with CAL becomes an easy and enduring decision.”

CAL CEO Mark Tosetti commented: “Mark’s passion for people, performance, and progress makes him an exceptional fit for this role. His success in building our presence in a previously untapped region is a testament to his leadership and vision. I’m confident he will help us reach new heights as we continue to evolve and strengthen our offer to brokers and partners across the UK.”
