Swedish fintech Mynt has announced a strategic investment from Visa as part of its Series B round, alongside an expanded reseller partnership that will see the company scale its spend management solutions across Europe. Founded in Stockholm in 2018, Mynt has become a leading platform for automating expense handling, offering corporate cards and seamless ERP integrations to over 16,000 businesses. With Visa now onboard as both investor and reseller partner, Mynt will gain access to a broader network of issuers, accelerating its growth across European and UK markets. The collaboration enables Visa to offer Mynt’s technology directly to financial institutions, aligning with its B2B strategy, while validating Mynt’s vision to simplify business spending for underserved SMBs through automation and real-time insights.

Mynt is a Stockholm-based fintech company offering a modern spend management platform designed to simplify financial operations for small and medium-sized businesses. Founded in 2018 by a team with backgrounds at Klarna, Nordnet, SEB, and Ericsson, Mynt helps companies eliminate manual admin by integrating company cards, banking, and accounting into one seamless system. With real-time expense control, automated reconciliation, and access to flexible financing, Mynt empowers thousands of businesses to manage their finances with clarity and ease. Backed by investors like Svea Ekonomi and Luminar Ventures, Mynt is a licensed financial institution and a proud member of Visa’s Fintech in a Box, Findec, and SUP46.

Mynt has rapidly grown to become a leading spend management solution provider in the Nordic region. The company offers corporate cards to over 16,000 of its business customers which, through Mynt’s platform, can seamlessly integrate with ERP and accounting systems reducing time spent on finance administration and bookkeeping.

The partnership with Visa will enable Mynt to address the growing demand for efficient spend management among small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Philip Konopik, Regional Managing Director, Visa Nordics & Baltics, said: “We are thrilled to invest in Mynt as they continue to grow following several years of joint value-creating collaboration. Another great example of Nordic fintech innovation where Visa is deepening collaboration with Mynt, where our combined capabilities will enable our clients and partners to bring market leading propositions and service to Small and Medium sized Businesses across Europe.”

The investment, which is part of Mynt’s announced series B funding round, underscores Visa’s commitment to supporting innovative fintech solutions and enhancing payment experiences for businesses across Europe.
‍
As part of this deepened relationship, Mynt will also become a reseller partner for Visa, expanding its reach and capabilities throughout Europe.

By onboarding Mynt as a reseller partner across Europe, Visa will be able to resell Mynt’s SaaS solutions directly to issuers. This collaboration can help simplify the client onboarding process and accelerate go-to-market timelines in alignment with Visa’s B2B strategy.

Baltsar Sahlin, CEO and Co-Founder of Mynt, said: “We are excited to welcome Visa as an investor and to become their reselling partner. We are impressed by Visa’s team and this partnership will allow us to further scale our solutions across Europe and the UK. Visa’s investment is also a testament to the strength of our technology, capabilities and our vision to simplify and streamline business expenses.”

The partnership will enable Visa to better meet its clients’ needs and the underserved SMB market. Mynt’s platform provides auto-reconciliation and easy integration into accounting software enabling spend insights and reduced administrative burden.
