BKN301 Group, a London-based Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), closed a 21.5 million euros Series B round that attracted the resources of CDP Venture Capital, Azimut Digitech – Azimut Libera Impresa (FNDX advisor), Simest – F.394/81, Alisei Forinvestments, and other investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Stiven Muccioli, Federico Zambelli Hosmer and Luca Bertozzi founded BKN301 and will invest the raised proceeds in its proprietary technology and organic growth. Medicud, a startup that produces medical devices, attracted equity resources worth 0.766 million euros and debt facilities of 0.575 million from CHMBR Partners, 50 Partners Capital Health, Business Angels des Grandes Écoles (BADGE), and further investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Antonio Nunzio d’Angelo and Andrea Cazzulani founded Medicud in 2020 and since then raised 2.5 million. The company will invest the raised proceeds in completing the CE brand procedured and in achieving the FDA approval for DRYUM. Charles Hirschler is a managing member of CHMBR Partners. Sandrine Egron is the Investment Director of 50 Partners Capital Health.
Exsensia, an Italian robotics startup, attracted seed resources of one million euros from RoboIT and Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico per la Robotica e l’Automazione Industriale, a vehicle that CDP Venture Capital and Pariter Partners created (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company also attracted the resources of Italian industry peer Elettrocablaggi and Pariter Robotics, a vehicle of Pariter Partners that invests in academic spin-offs in the fields of robotics and automation. Gianluca Lentini and Elisa Stefanini founded Exsensia. Saturnalia, a provider of AI-based solutions for the agricultural and insurance sectors, attracted 0.6 million euros from Farming Future, a vehicle of CDP Venture Capital and ToSeed Partners (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Gianni Cristian Iannelli (ceo) and cto Daniele De Vecchi founded Saturnalia in 2016. The company will invest the raised proceeds in its proprietary technology. Prensilia, a spin-off of Pisa’s Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna for the robotcs field, attracted an undisclosed seed investment from RoboIT and Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico per la Robotica e l’Automazione Industriale, a vehicle that CDP Venture Capital and Pariter Partners created (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company also attracted the resources of Pariter Partners, Pariter Robotics and CDP Venture Capital – Toscana Next, a vehicle of Fondazione CR Firenze, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, Fondazione Caript, and Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena. Francesco Clemente is the ceo of Prensilia which will invest the raised resources in its organic growth. Claudia Pingue is the head of CDP Venture Capital’s Technology Transfer Fund. Valentina Franchini is a managing director of Pariter Partners. Italian venture capital Liftt said it invested again in Danish Sparrow Quantum, a producer of photonic chips, which launched a 21.5 million euros Series A Round that PensionDanmark, EIFO and Novo Holdings led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The comany also attracted the resources of 2xN and the European Innovation Council (EIC). Peter Lodahl is the founder of Sparrow. Peter Stensgaard Mørch is the ceo of PensionDanmark. Peder Lundquist heads EIFO. Pierluigi Freni is the project manager of LIFTT.
