Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Switzerland-based financing platform Teylor AG on the acquisition of Grenke AG’s factoring business, a global financing partner for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Teylor will initially take over the factoring companies in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Poland and Hungary and aims to acquire all factoring companies in the medium term, including those in Italy and Portugal. The phased acquisition is expected to be completed by mid-2026. The takeover is still subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in Germany and Hungary.
The Swiss fintech is using the acquisition to expand the Teylor platform into six additional countries and to strengthen its position as the leading SME lending platform in Europe through further strategic acquisitions.
