Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Providence Equity Partners (Providence) on its acquisition of Tax Systems, a global tax and accounting software provider, from Bowmark Capital.
Founded in 1991, Tax Systems is a leading specialist provider of software and solutions that digitise the tax compliance process. The company now serves over 1,500 clients, including multinational enterprises, more than 80 percent of the top UK and Ireland accounting firms and approximately 40 percent of the FTSE 100.
Providence Equity Partners is a specialist private equity investment firm focused on growth-oriented media, communications, education and technology companies across North America and Europe. Since its founding in 1989, Providence has invested over US$36 billion across more than 175 private equity portfolio companies.
