Luke Billson

Fine & Country has announced the latest additions to its network.

Luke Billson joins as a partner agent at Fine & Country Nottingham, bringing over 15 years of experience in the property sector across the East Midlands.

He commented, “I have extensive experience in valuation, strategic listing, innovative marketing, and expert negotiation. Fine & Country’s cutting-edge video marketing and strong social media presence, supported by our national network, provide unmatched exposure that goes beyond the capabilities of local agencies.

“My consultant-level service and negotiation expertise ensure clients receive the best possible outcomes. I am thrilled to be joining Fine & Country, a brand that has made remarkable progress in establishing itself as the premier choice for prime property, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”

Additionally, Fine & Country Harrow and Pinner welcomes Jagdip Ranparia, who joins Andre and Roger in expanding the office’s reach. Jagdip brings a wealth of experience in both residential and commercial property sales, combining his technical skills with a client-centric approach.

This dynamic career history allows me to be proactive, adaptable, and passionate about real estate—qualities that make me a strong addition to the Associate team at Fine & Country.

“I am grateful to Andre for his support in taking this first step. Having admired Park Lane Head Office from the outside for 15 years, finally stepping inside is an incredible milestone. I feel motivated and excited to be part of an organisation whose ethos, ambitions, and vision align so well with my own.”

Knight Frank announces new head of sales in its New Forest & Isle of Wight office

Knight Frank has appointed Jack Newland as head of sales in its New Forest & Isle of Wight office.

Newland joins Knight Frank with over a decade’s experience in the property industry, specialising in the South of England market. Beginning in Poole with Hamptons International, he steadily advanced in his career, moving from senior sales negotiator at Tailor Made Estates to head of sales in 2020 whilst also expanding his patch into Hampshire and the New Forest. He then moved to a head of sales role with Fine & Country Wessex and New Forest.

In his new role at Knight Frank, Newland will focus on selling luxury properties ranging from £1m-3m. He will work closely with Hamish Humfrey of the Waterfront Country team as well as with Clive Moon and his team in Hampshire.

Newland commented: “With over 12 years of experience in the prime property market along the South Coast, I have built a strong network of contacts as well as a deep understanding of the region’s most desirable properties. Now, as Head of the New Forest and Isle of Wight for Knight Frank, I look forward to bringing a wealth of expertise, local knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients seeking the finest homes and investments. I strive to combine years of industry experience with an unparalleled commitment to helping those navigate the market with confidence and success.”

Clive Moon, partner and regional head of Hampshire at Knight Frank, said: “Knight Frank’s Hampshire team are thrilled to be joined by Jack as the Head of our New Forest and Isle of Wight business. Jack lives locally and has worked across the New Forest and Canford Cliffs in property agency and development in recent years. His appointment brings an enthusiastic approach alongside detailed local knowledge aimed at the continued growth of our residential business across Hampshire.”

PBSA specialists join expanding multifamily capital markets team at Newmark

Andrew Smith

Newmark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMRK) (“Newmark” or “the Company”), announces the firm has appointed Andrew Smith and Harriet Bantock to its specialist Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) Multifamily Capital Markets team in London as a Senior Leader and Senior Associate, respectively.

Smith was involved in the sale of Pavilion Court in Wembley on behalf of DWS and also sold Scape Dublin, the largest PBSA transaction in Ireland since 2022. He was formerly the Head of Student Accommodation at Cushman & Wakefield.

Harriet Bantock

Bantock was also involved in the sale of Scape Dublin, and her work extends to PBSA transactions in Europe overseeing over €600m transacted in Spain and Ireland, including standing investments and forward purchases.

Smith commented, “This is a very exciting time to join Newmark as it strengthens its presence in the UK and across Europe. There remains a lack of quality PBSA stock, so the markets are behaving with more nuance than ever. Whilst there are new risks in the form of building safety and changing international student trends, there are huge opportunities for PBSA to answer to the housing demand in the UK. With our growing team bringing together best-in-class specialists in the sector, Newmark is well placed to advise clients on how to capitalise on these opportunities.”
