Silver Lake launched a public offer on Endeavor for delisting it from NYSE on 24 March, Monday, on the ground of an enterprise value of 25 billion
CVC Capital Partners tabled a one billion US Dollars bid for acquiring from Endeavor Group Holdings a portfolio of tennis tournaments that includes Miami Open, Madrid Open, Barcelona Open, and London Hurlingham Club pre-Wimbledon event, SKY News reported.
InApril 2024, Silver Lake launched a public offer on Endeavor on the ground of a 13 billion US Dollars equity value and an enterprise value of 25 billion (press release) and on 24 March, Monday, the company will delist from NYSE (press release). In November 2024, the company said that also Frieze, its platform for modern and contemporary art, was also up for sale (press release).

Ari Emanuel, a former agent of Hollywood stars, heads Endeavor Group and also acts as ceo and executive chairman of the subsidiary TKO Group Holdings, the owner of UFC (The Ultimate Fighting Championship) company for mixed martial arts events in USA, and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).
The Raine Group is handling the sale of tennis tournaments portfolio and expects to receive the final bids by the end of March.
The asset also attracted the interest of EQT Partners and Providence Equity Partners. Endeavor aims to sell the portfolio as a whole even though private investors that aim to acquire single events.
In 2023, CVC invested 150 million in WTA Ventures, the commercial unit of Women’s Tennis Association (press release). The fund has a consolidated track record in the sport and media sector as it already poured its resources in Formula One, football, rugby, cricket, and volleyball.
