Sources said to BeBeez that Dekus, a real estate developer born in 2024 that belongs to ceo Mauro Montagner (80%) and Fabio Provini (20%), aims to invest more than 250 million euros in the Rome Logistic Hub (RLH) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Dekus manages assets worth 2 billion that include those of Edizione Property (a vehicle of the Benetton Family). Dekus also manages RLH which is of 250000 sqms and belongs to Edizione Property, Tyche Bank, Guber Banca, Rile Development, and Morgan Stanley. One of the buildings is of 52000 sqms, has a grade A and a Breeam Very Good certification.
Invel Real Estate, a Southern Europe player, financed with 111.2 million euros the transformation of fka Hotel Majestic into Baccarat Hotel Rome, a luxury asset in the iconic Via Veneto (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Luxembourg’s Boscalt Hospitality Fund, a RAIF-SICAV of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, acquired the asset in June 2022 from EGA-Esercizio Grandi Alberghi, a firm of the Violante Family. Boscalt Hospitality Fund issued a bond that Invel subscribed. Baccarat Hotels & Resorts is a brand of SH Hotels & Resorts, which will soon rename as Starwood Hotels.
The Italian subsidiary of European realtor Dils acquired the majority of Lucas Fox, a Spanish competitor (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The transaction may close in 1Q25. Lucas Fox’ founders Alexander Vaughan and Stijn Teeuwen will keep a minority of the asset and headt Dils residential unit in Spain. The target has a turnover of above 30 million euros. Giuseppe Amitrano is the ceo of Dils.
SCPI ActivImmo, a firm born in 2019 that French real estate asset player Alderan manages, and Kervis acquired a 22000 sqms asset in Bagnolo Mella, Brixia area, through a sale & leaseback agreement with the assistance of Ways Advisory (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
Fondo Ora, an investor in the logistics sector that Silver FIR Capital manages, hired CBRE as property managemeer (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Alessandra Finazzi is the Head of Property Management Office, Logistics & Living of CBRE Italy.
The turnover of Italian servicer for distressed credits doValue, a firm with a gross book value (GBV) of above 135 billion euros that also operates in Spain and in Greece, shrunk by 1.5% yoy while operative costs went up 2.8% (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Manuela Franchi acts as ceo while Mirco Briozzo heads the Italian unit. The subsidiary doValue Greece Real Estate Services focus on the management of assets through securitizations.
