Munich-based Bliro, a Conversation Intelligence platform, has raised €2.8 million in funding to enhance its AI-driven transcription and analysis solution for sales and customer success teams.
The round was backed by LEA Partners and 468 Capital, along with existing investor Rockstart.
“We are even more proud, that over the past 1.5 years, we have collaborated with hundreds of companies and thousands of users—including European scale-ups and technology leaders such as Immoscout24, Zenjob or Telefónica Germany who are all using Bliro to put efficiency and performance in their customer facing teams on Autopilot,” said Co-founders Martin Thoma and Maurice Schweitzer in a statement shared with EU-Startups.
Founded in 2022, Bliro is designed to streamline how businesses capture and process customer interactions. By offering real-time transcription and AI-powered analysis in a GDPR-compliant manner, the platform eliminates manual data entry, enhances internal knowledge sharing, and provides companies with actionable insights.
Bliro is committed to protecting user privacy through its proprietary, anonymous real-time transcription technology, developed at the Technical University of Munich. This system transcribes conversations without recording audio, ensuring compliance with strict privacy regulations. User data is encrypted and stored on European servers, specifically in Frankfurt, Germany. Access to transcripts and AI summaries is exclusive to the user; Bliro does not share data with employers or colleagues without explicit consent. Additionally, user data is not utilised for training AI models. Bliro operates solely under user control, requiring active initiation for transcription.
Unlike traditional solutions, Bliro seamlessly integrates across all online meeting tools, softphone solutions, and even in-person conversations—without the need for a visible bot.
Bliro says that the need for AI-powered Conversation Intelligence in customer-facing roles is growing, as businesses struggle to balance CRM updates with meaningful customer engagement. By automating these processes, Bliro helps teams reclaim up to eight hours per week that would otherwise be spent on administrative tasks. The platform also enables AI-driven coaching by identifying best practices from thousands of customer interactions, providing data-backed sales training and performance improvement.
“Bliro saves me time and keeps me organized. With Bliro I finally managed to get rid of my paper chaos. I can now digitize my notes directly, which saves me time and keeps me more organized. Also, the product is developed extremely quickly and always according to my needs,” adds Tim Gremlitza Customer Success Manager, talentsconnect.
Bliro’s impact is already being seen across major European businesses. The platform is used by companies such as Immoscout24, Zenjob, and Telefónica Germany to drive efficiency and optimise sales strategies. By capturing insights at scale, Bliro allows leadership teams to understand why deals are lost, track customer feedback trends, and refine their sales approach with AI-driven recommendations.
“With this latest investment, we aim to expand our capabilities and reach more businesses looking to harness the power of AI-driven Conversation Intelligence while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and compliance,” added Thoma and Schweitzer.
