Theo James-Wright joins Blue Book Agency as a director

Theo James-Wright
Theo James-Wright

Blue Book Agency has announced that Theo James-Wright has joined the business as a director, specialising in the sale of country houses across the Southern Home Counties.

With over a decade of experience in the property industry, both selling and buying homes for clients, James-Wright brings extensive expertise and knowledge in the region to the London-based agency.

By joining Blue Book Agency, James-Wright will once again be working alongside Lindsay Cuthill, with whom he previously collaborated with at Savills Country Department.

Theo joins Blue Book Agency following his role as partner at The Buying Solution, the independent buying agency arm of Knight Frank, where he specialised acquiring homes for clients across Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.

Prior to The Buying Solution, Theo held prominent roles at Savills, where he specialised in selling premium country houses across West Sussex, Surrey and East Hampshire, from their Country Department.

James-Wright’s career in estate agency began in London with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, followed by Carter Jonas in Barnes, where he played a key role in building market share.

Lindsay Cuthill, co-founder of Blue Book Agency, commented: “His [James-Wright’s] personable nature, unmatched communication skills, and knowledge of the Southern Home Counties markets have earned him widespread recognition with clients on both sides of the transaction and in the industry.

“Theo’s ability to connect with clients and provide expert guidance aligns perfectly with Blue Book Agency’s ethos of offering a highly personalised and expert service. On a personal note, it’s wonderful to have Theo back on my team; I thoroughly enjoyed working with him during our time together at Savills.”

James-Wright commented: “Lindsay has been a friend and mentor for many years since we met at Savills and what he and the team have built at Blue Book Agency in such a short time is truly remarkable.

“The agency’s commitment to excellence and bespoke service resonates with my approach to property. I look forward to selling some of the UK’s most important country houses and contributing to the ongoing success of the business.”

Wylie commented: “Having previously been responsible for the acquisition of small and large scale redevelopment schemes on both greenfield and brownfield sites, I’m looking forward to employing my many years of experience in a national role.

“With some fantastic new sites in the pipeline and a clear drive to deliver well-connected new communities that customers can be proud to call home, it’s a really exciting time to join the business and I’m looking forward to working with a talented team to optimise our strong landbank.”
