Catherine Hill joins White & Case as a partner in London

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Tax Practice and Global Private Equity Industry Group with the addition of Catherine Hill as a partner in London.

“A strong global tax presence is essential to ensure we are best placed to guide clients through the complex cross-border tax implications of their transactions,” said White & Case partner Sang I. Ji, who leads the Firm’s Global Tax Practice. “Catherine has excellent technical expertise and is well placed to hit the ground running advising clients on the tax aspects of their mergers and acquisitions and finance transactions.”

Catherine advises corporates, individuals and funds on their transactional tax matters and strategic tax planning, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She has extensive experience advising sponsors and management teams on all elements of management incentive schemes, and also advises on international group reorganizations and restructurings, UK employment tax, real estate transactions and structuring and UK and cross-border corporate finance transactions. Catherine joins White & Case from Latham & Watkins.
