Jayne Bryant, Welsh cabinet secretary for Housing and Local Government, is set to take centre stage as a keynote speaker at Propertymark’s Welsh National Conference next month.
The event, which is set to take place on 6 February, should provide valuable political insight into how pieces of legislation like the Renting Homes (Wales) Act, and the Welsh government’s White Paper on Fair Rents & Adequate Housing will impact property agents.
Due to high demand for this conference, Propertymark has doubled its programme for the Welsh National Conference at the International Convention Centre Wales, which will provide an opportunity for agents to expand their industry knowledge, network with fellow, like-minded professionals and hear the latest trends and insights from experts across the sector.
Propertymark has offered this as a benefit meaning members can attend this conference for free which will help enhance your skills and acquire valuable Continual Professional Development (CPD) points.
The event has already confirmed a number of speakers, including Nathan Emerson, CEO at Propertymark, James Munro, the head of property enforcement body, the National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team; Sarah Rivers, group leader at Welsh government property scheme Rent Smart Wales; Francis West, CEO at computer security company Security Everywhere; and Clare Yates at property consultancy firm CY Training Works.
Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, said: “Propertymark is absolutely delighted to welcome Jayne Bryant to our annual Welsh National Conference to provide attendees with valuable insights into the Welsh political landscape, alongside the diverse range of experts that we have lined up.
“We want agents across all disciplines to strive for excellence in their professions. That’s why we bring all the relevant and renowned property gurus under one roof, to provide agents with an edge above other agencies and have the questions that matter most to them answered by those who are at the forefront of these changes. If you have not booked your place yet, then I urge you to do so now and avoid disappointment.”
