Jotelulu, a Spanish platform that supports IT companies in their transition to cloud service providers, has raised €6.8 million in a funding round led by venture capital firm Kibo Ventures.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors, including Adara Ventures, Bankinter, G2A, and Big Sur Ventures. This capital injection is aimed at fuelling the company’s international expansion.
The investment will allow Jotelulu to strengthen its presence in Europe and make inroads into Latin American markets. Speaking on the occasion, David Amorín, CEO of Jotelulu, remarked: “The backing of Kibo Ventures is a recognition of our team’s effort and the validity of our business model. At Jotelulu we are committed to the product, proximity and understanding of each market. We now know that the problems of IT companies are similar in all countries: they need simple and competitive solutions to make SMEs adopt the cloud.”
Founded in 2020, Jotelulu aims to make cloud services accessible and manageable for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), using a centralised platform for managing technical, administrative, and commercial processes. These capabilities include provisioning servers, ensuring business continuity, and enabling seamless communications.
The company collaborates with over 1,000 IT partners across Spain, Portugal, and France, enabling them to provide tailored cloud solutions to their SME clients. The platform has distinguished itself as an alternative to industry giants such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud by focusing on the specific needs of smaller enterprises.
Juan López Santamaría, partner at Kibo Ventures, highlighted the importance of Jotelulu’s vision: “The leadership and ambitious vision of the Jotelulu team have been key drivers for our investment. Jotelulu is much more than a cloud services platform, it is the main gateway to the cloud for the SMB segment. By offering IT providers the tools they need to become the main channel for technology modernisation, Jotelulu enables SMBs to adopt cloud services and AI solutions designed specifically for their needs.”
According to Jotelulu, they have invested in creating their own infrastructure, enabling greater independence and the ability to deliver bespoke solutions – unlike other competitors who rely on American hyperscalers. The company’s portfolio includes advanced mobility, security, and AI-driven tools tailored to SME requirements.
To date, Jotelulu has raised nearly €12 million, and will continue to solidify and expand its existing operations in Spain, Portugal and France.
