Kodiak Hub, a Stockholm-based company focused on transforming Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with AI-powered tools, has secured €6 million in funding from the B2B SaaS investment firm Oxx. The investment will support the company’s expansion, especially in the US, and help enhance its platform with advanced data analytics capabilities. Kodiak Hub’s platform offers procurement leaders a comprehensive overview of supply chain risks and performance, allowing them to make informed decisions. With over 80 clients across industries, the company aims to support businesses in building resilient and sustainable supply chains while addressing the growing need for transparency and efficiency in procurement.

As global supply chains continue to grapple with disruptions, sustainability has moved from a buzzword to an urgent necessity. According to the UN Global Compact, supply chain emissions now account for 70% of the average corporate value chain’s total emissions. With rising calls for transparency and responsible sourcing, organizations are under intense pressure to rethink their procurement strategies. The cost of failure is high, with McKinsey estimating that supply chain disruptions could reduce EBITA by up to 50%, while The Economist reported revenue losses of 6-20% in 2023 alone.

Procurement has thus become a critical function, central to ensuring business continuity, resilience, and long-term growth. In this context, Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) are now tasked with not only managing risks but also ensuring sustainability and compliance across the supply chain.

The platform provides a comprehensive, 360-degree view of supply chain risk, helping procurement leaders to make informed, high-stakes decisions. With real-time data and AI-powered analytics, Kodiak Hub enables teams to proactively address risks, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure compliance. The platform is trusted by over 80 procurement leaders across industries, from manufacturing to food and energy, supporting them in building resilient and sustainable supply chains.

Recognized globally, Kodiak Hub has been listed in the ProcureTech 100 rankings for the past three years and earned accolades from Spend Matters as a “Customer Favorite in Supplier Management” for two consecutive years.

With the new €6 million investment from Oxx, Kodiak Hub is poised for significant expansion. The funding will support the company’s efforts to enter the US market and strengthen its commercial and data analytics teams. Additionally, the company plans to enhance its platform further, focusing on AI-driven tools that will provide procurement teams with even deeper insights and faster decision-making capabilities.

Founder and CEO Malin Schmidt states, “Our robust data sourcing and continuous intelligence-building enable customers to make smarter decisions that unlock greater value across their supply networks while reducing costs and amplifying sustainability impact.”

Oxx’s investment signals a shared commitment to reshaping Supplier Relationship Management.

“As companies face increased pressure to meet regulatory and sustainability requirements, Kodiak Hub’s sophisticated analytics and AI-driven insights are uniquely positioned to enable procurement leaders to take a proactive approach in managing supplier quality, risk, and compliance,” says Ingrid Bonde Åkerlind, Principal at Oxx. “Malin and her team have crafted a ‘data cockpit’ for procurement, essential in today’s landscape, and we are thrilled to partner with them on their journey to redefine Supplier Relationship Management.”
