Gruppo Chiappa, an Italian fire weapons producer, acquired troubled Société d’application des procédés Lefebvre (Sapl), a French competitor (see here a previous post by BeBeez). CastaldiPartners assisted the buyers. Émilie Lefebvre will keep her ceo role for the target.
Italian NPEs servicer doValue, a firm that operates in Italy, Greece and Spain with a Gross Book Value of 117 billion euros, posted 3Q24 profits of 5 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Manuela Franchi heads doValue which has a 3Q24 turnover of 283 million.
In 3Q24, Milan-listed Banca Ifis Npl unit generated net profits of 46.9 milion euros while the total amounted to 126.6 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). In 3Q24, the bank recovered 316 million.
Global management consluting and auting firm EY acquired Italian boutique competitor MPS Consulting which has a focus on the corporate finance for the mid-market Italian manufacturers (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Even shareholders Alberto Ascari, Daniele Giani, Francesco Iannice, Gian Luca Panizzari, and Paolo Sganzerla sold MPS Consulting which has sales of 1.6 million euros, an ebitda of 0.2061 millio and net debts in the region of o.221 million.
Sagitta, an Italian NPEs investor with aum of above 2.4 billion euros, appointed Giuseppe Semeraro as the new senior director of the origination funds solution unit (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Semeraro previously headed the credit funds solutions department of Intesa Sanpaolo.
