KomboAI, a company specialized in Artificial Intelligence solutions for the commercial sector, has closed its first round of investment, reaching €700,000, which has been led by Demium Capital, and supported by Encomenda and Eoniq. The business angels Daniel Visa, Charles Simonetti, Roger Sindreu, and Jared Gil, among others, also participated in this pre-seed round, in addition to having had the support of Nuclio.
KomboAI offers a solution to the most everyday problems that a salesperson has to face: facing customers. In a sector where tools have oversaturated the launch of mass mailings, the proposal that its developers bring to the world is to eliminate ephemeral conversations that lack efficiency.
This tool makes use of artificial intelligence to connect sellers and people with a personal and human touch. Through a quick reading in various public databases, KomboAI collects and analyzes multiple characteristics of potential clients to create a summary that is easy for the seller to read and understand.
The goal is to improve the skills of sales teams by creating habits that help them improve their conversion by learning and following sales methodologies validated by industry experts. It combines the art of selling with the science of AI to provide specific and personalized recommendations throughout the sales process, supporting the salesperson and increasing their self-confidence when closing a sale.
This software, which was launched last March, already has the trust of large corporations and hundreds of salespeople who manage to increase their company sales thanks to the tool. KomboAI allows the creation of advanced profiles of the clients with whom they interact, the automation of contact emails instead of relying on generic messages, and the creation of communication channels.
“With this investment we are going to change the world of sales and create a new status quo to support the seller in reaching their full potential. Thanks to the trust of our investors we are going to be able to create a much safer and more efficient environment for sellers,” said Ignacio Gaminde, COO and co-founder of KomboAI.
For Ale Pintaudi, CEO and co-founder of the platform. “Thanks to this investment we will be able to create an even stronger product that is used by small, medium and large companies, since we have noticed with the first clients that we solve a transversal problem that all those companies that have a digital sales channel have.” Pintaudi has expressed his satisfaction with the rapid evolution of the company since “with the first product that we launched in March, hundreds of salespeople are already using KomboAI.”
The support of Demium Capital in this round, as well as that of several successful entrepreneurs, is focused on supporting key stakeholders in the growth of the entity. Jorge Dobón, founder of Demium Capital, has explained his vision of the initiative: “A greater number of contacts with potential clients does not always impact a greater number of clients, since the more the number of tools that automate these processes increases, the more the contacts received by potential clients increase, negatively impacting conversion. This is where Kombo differs from most solutions by seeking an approach based on the quality of the contact versus the quantity of contacts.”
Mercè Tell, Key Partner of the N Ventures fund managed by Encomenda Capital Partners, has also expressed confidence in the project: “The Kombo team has a clear vision of how sales will evolve in the digital channel, and they have developed a product that adapts perfectly to the opportunities generated by artificial intelligence, and to the demands of the market, which are increasingly focused on team efficiency.”
Meanwhile, Tom Horsey, managing partner of EONIQ Fund, explained that “Kombo is the next evolution to be able to provide greater access to potential clients and to educate, train and improve the sales team of each company in terms of their sales capabilities by taking advantage of AI. At EONIQ we are very happy to be able to be part of this project and continue in it in the future.”
