Silver FIR Capital, an investor in social infrastructures, launched Fondo Ora, a vehicle for the logistic service that already closed an above 130 million euros worth deal for acquiring and developing a more than 170000 sqms asset with the support of AF Logistics (see here a previous post by BeBeez). DHL already rented 70000 sqms, other logistics players pre-leased 30000 sqms under construction while 70000 sqms are still available. Lorenzo Baroni, is the ceo of Silver Fir Capital and founded the firm with Andrea Portella and Paolo Mevio. Antonio Ferrari is the founder and ceo of AF Logistics.
Newcold Coöperatief, a food warehousing company that the founder and ceo Bram Hage heads and that belongs to Westport Capital Partners, will invest more than 70 million euros for building a logistic asset in Ferentino (Frosinone – Central Italy) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The warehouse will consume half of the energy that traditional assets require and store mainly the products of Froneri, a food company of PAI Partners and Nestlé.
Langosteria, an Italian chain of high-end restaurants that Enrico Buonocore created and of which Remo Ruffini has 40%, signed a partnership with Smeralda Holding, a company of QIA (Qatar Investment Authorithy) that Mario Ferraro runs as ceo, for opening a shop in Porto Cervo, Sardinia (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
CDP hired Deloitte for selling its 30% in Redo, a B-corp that Fondazione Cariplo and InvestiRE sgr (Gruppo Banca Finnat) created in 2019 for carrying on investments in the social housing sector (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Redo has assets under management worth 1.3 billion euros and a 1.2 billion NAV.
