Vind AI, a startup specializing in AI-driven wind park design, has raised €3 million in a seed round led by Norrsken VC, with participation from Spacemaker founders and Arkwright X. Founded in 2022, Vind AI provides a platform for early-stage wind project design, helping developers model different configurations and optimize energy output before construction. The funding will be used to enhance their product, grow their team, and expand their customer base. Vind AI’s current clients include major industry players like TotalEnergies and RWE, who use the platform to streamline design decisions and reduce project costs.
Vind AI is an innovative platform focused on the early stages of offshore wind project development. The tool supports screening, conceptual, and pre-feed design phases by leveraging AI and real-time data to optimize turbine placement, grid connections, and environmental factors. It enables developers to evaluate various design configurations, aiming to enhance energy output and minimize costs. By providing a collaborative environment, Vind AI helps streamline the development process and reduce risks associated with wind project planning.
