The investment, led by Northzone with additional support from 82an Invest and Zebkei Invest, also brings Northzone’s Pär-Jörgen Pärson onto Flower’s board of directors. Established in 2020 by John Diklev, Flower specializes in integrating battery energy storage systems into the grid, serving electric car fleets, home battery owners, data centers, and solar parks. The new capital will fuel Flower’s efforts to enhance grid predictability and flexibility while generating new revenue streams for renewable energy assets.
Flower is at the forefront of battery storage innovation and is expanding its reach across Europe. The company specializes in integrating battery energy storage systems into the grid to enhance stability and flexibility. Using advanced AI software, Flower’s services aim to improve the predictability of energy systems and accommodate the needs of both energy producers and consumers. By combining technology with a portfolio of flexible energy assets, Flower contributes to the transition towards a fossil-free energy system. Additionally, the company is becoming a key player in developing large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and is gaining recognition from grid operators across Europe.
