CampusX, a student housing company that belongs to FattoreItalia (a firm that belongs to Ernesto Albanese and Stefano Tanzi), said it will complete by 3Q26 the Campus & Hotel CX Bologna Navile, based in Bologna (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The House will accommodate 633 persons in 21000 sqms. Such investment is worth 70 million euros. Andrea Marchiori is the ceo of Techbau which is acting as developer and general contractor. Ernesto Albanese and Samuele Annibali are the chairman and ceo of CampusX
Fondo Pitagora, a real estate vehicle in which invested CDP Real Asset and Finint Investments, announced the launch of a students house in that will accommodate 370 persons (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Pitagora aims to raise 150 million euros. Finint Investments signed a preliminary agreement for buying a 10000 sqms area in the South-East of Pisa from Ville Urbane which sold the former industrial site of Saint-Gobain where the development will take place. The students house will be compliant with the LEED and Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principles.
Redo, an Italian B-Corp that manages real estate funds, said it will acquire EuroMilano (a developer that is carrying on the Cascina Merlata project) for creating an ESG vehicle (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Intesa SanPaolo (43%), Corcab Sviluppo Soc. Cooperativa (25%), Brioschi (17%), and Unipol (15%) sold their stakes in the target. Redo belongs to Fondazione Cariplo (43%), CDP (30%), Intesa SanPaolo (19.5%), and Lum-Libera Unione Mutualistica (9.5%). Re-City, a vehicle of Redo, raised 750 million euros ahead of a one billion target and it will pour equity for 50 million for completing the masterplan of Cascina Merlata (30 million from Fondo Tematico Piani Urbani Integrati, a vehicle that has attracted the resources of the Italian Ministry of Finance and European Investment Bank‘s NRRP funds of funds and that Equiter manages, and 20 million). Intesa Sanpaolo, Banco BPM, BPER, and Banca Popolare di Sondrio will provide further financing facilities. Cascina Merlata is a 900000 sqms project for social and residential housing.
