Fenix Solar, a Helsingborg-based company specializing in the monitoring and optimization of solar cell installations, has been acquired by ECOKRAFT, a Swedish solar energy supplier. This acquisition enhances ECOKRAFT’s offerings with Fenix Solar’s advanced technology for optimization and proactive error correction, allowing for more efficient and reliable solar energy solutions. Fenix Solar will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary, leveraging its expertise to support ECOKRAFT’s growth strategy in sustainable energy solutions across Sweden.

Fenix Solar, founded in 2020, specializes in monitoring and optimizing solar cell installations. The company focuses on analyzing solar data to detect production losses and errors quickly, providing customers with detailed performance metrics of their solar cells. This proactive approach ensures that any issues affecting solar energy production are identified and addressed promptly, maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of solar installations. Fenix Solar’s technology helps solar cell owners manage their systems more efficiently, allowing them to contribute effectively to a better climate without the need for constant oversight.

ECOKRAFT, established in 2008, is a solar energy supplier that designs and installs complete solar cell systems for homes, agriculture, and businesses. The company works with European market-leading suppliers to provide high-quality solar solutions. ECOKRAFT offers a comprehensive range of services, including planning, projecting, installation, and commissioning of solar cell systems. Their goal is to help individuals and companies produce their own electricity in a flexible, simple, and professional manner, with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

“The acquisition of Fenix Solar AB is an important part of our growth strategy and confirms our leading position in sustainable energy solutions in Sweden,” says Johan Nyblom, CEO of ECOKRAFT.

With Fenix Solar’s technology for optimization and proactive error correction, ECOKRAFT can offer more advanced solutions. Through a range of different metrics, customers get access to data on how the solar cells are performing, which means that errors and production losses can be detected quickly.

“Fenix Solar’s technology complements our offer in an excellent way and strengthens our ability to deliver safe and efficient solar energy solutions to our customers,” concludes Johan Nyblom.

Fenix Solar, which was founded in 2020 and is based in Helsingborg, will continue to function as an independent subsidiary within the ECOKRAFT group.

“We are incredibly happy to now end up in a new and larger family, where we are sure that the conditions to have a proper impact and really be able to make a difference to the industry are unbeatable. We look forward to starting work together with the awesome and competent team at ECOKRAFT,” says Eric Witt, CEO of Fenix Solar.
