Utrecht-based Solvari, a platform where people find renovation and sustainability jobs, has acquired Amsterdam’s Offerte.nl, an SME mediator in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Offerte.nl connects people who need services with local businesses. The company has been operating in the Netherlands for 10 years and expanded to Belgium in 2021 and Scandinavia in 2023. Currently, it has 40 employees.
Speaking on the acquisition, Oscar Knoeff, CEO of Offerte.nl, says, “Solvari is the largest job platform in the Benelux; We are therefore very pleased that we can join forces. I see many synergy benefits in the Benelux.”
“In addition, Solvari believes in our international expansion strategy, and I am pleased that they want to enable us to further implement it. I expect that the strong platform and financial strength will lead to more growth and a better customer experience.”
Aim of the acquisition
With its sixth acquisition in three years, Solvari has expanded in the Benelux area (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and hopes to have a total turnover of €40M by 2024.
Joep Ketelaar, CEO of Solvari, says, “We are bringing on board a player with a good reputation. Solvari and Offerte.nl are closely related in terms of product range and target groups. The merger of the companies enables the group to serve consumers and specialists even better with their renovation and sustainability projects.”
The merger will connect thousands of people daily with suitable businesses from a network of over 5,000 companies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Each year, the platform connects over 500,000 people with interested companies. This growth happened because of earlier purchases, like Buldit, Offrea, Casius, and Twizzi. Solvari’s growth is supported by Vortex Capital Partners, who have owned most of the company since 2018.
With this latest deal, Solvari aims to become a market leader.
Solvari also plans to grow by meeting the demand for eco-friendly solutions like heat pumps and home batteries. According to a statement by Solvari, by 2024, the size of the residential sustainability market in the Benelux is estimated to be at €20B. Therefore, Solvari isn’t only focusing on growing in the Benelux, but also in nearby markets.
The company wants to keep making its services better and expand to other countries in the next few years.
