Eight co-operative banks that are part of Cassa Centrale Utp portfolios to Banca Finint through a 41 million euros worth transaction on Prelios‘ BlinkS platform (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Banca Adria Colli Euganei, Banca di Caraglio, del Cuneese e della Riviera dei Fiori, Banca Malatestiana, BVR BANCA – Banche Venete Riunite Credito Cooperativo di Schio, Pedemonte, Roana e Vestenanova, Banco Marchigiano, Banca di Credito Cooperativo Lodi, RomagnaBanca, and Banca di Credito Cooperativo dei Castelli Romani e del Tuscolo sold such UTPs through Fantasia spv that issued the notes that Banca Finint acquired.
Aeroviaggi, the owner of Mangia’s Resorts & Clubs, acquired Palermo’s 5-stars Grand Hotel et Des Palmes from Algebris NPL Partnership which purchased the asset in 2018 for 12 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Market rumours say that the deal is worth 30 million and UniCredit financed it.
Milan-listed Integrated System Credit Consulting Fintech (ISCC Fintech), an investor in NPLs of which Milan-listed Gruppo Conafi Prestitò has 61%, paid 3.15 million euros for a portfolio with a face value of 12.9 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). MyNpl.it acted as a financial advisor. Gianluca De Carlo is the ceo of ISCC Fintech.
Italian diversified financial firm Banca Finint chairman Enrico Marchi said that Lucio Izzi is the new ceo that will replace Fabio Innocenzi, now executive vicepresident in charge of strategic development and M&A (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Enrico Marchi kept his chairman role. Giorgio Stefano Bertinetti, Fabrizio Pagani, and Giuliana Scognamiglio concluded their three-years tenure as board members while Laura Chiaramonte, Vittoria Giustiniani, and Simonetta Bono replaced them for the next three years. Finint also appointed Giovanni Perissinotto (vicepresident), Luciano Colombini, Massimo Mazzega, and Giovanni Marchi as further board memebers.
