Supersimple, a Tallinn-based data platform aimed at enabling users to answer complex ad-hoc questions with zero code, has announced $2.2 million in funding from investors including Tera Ventures, Specialist VC, Tiny VC, Ott Kaukver, Alvar Lumberg, Indrek Kasela, and Märt Kelder. The platform connects to existing data warehouses, allowing users to interact with data through a no-code UI or plain English. The funding will be used to accelerate the company’s progress towards becoming the operating system for companies, integrating structured and unstructured data to provide valuable insights and empowering individuals in every company to make informed decisions.

A team of engineers and data enthusiasts embarked on a mission to revolutionize the way companies harness the power of their data. Marko Klopets, along with his co-founders, believed that the true value of data lies not in colorful dashboards but in the ability to answer specific, deep questions that drive meaningful insights.

Their vision gave birth to Supersimple, a powerful data platform designed to empower every individual in a company to answer complex ad-hoc questions with ease, accuracy, and zero code. Unlike traditional data tools, Supersimple focused on enabling users to explore hypotheses, iterate, compare, and zoom out, all without the need for specialized data skills.

From the outset, the team knew that building Supersimple would be a complex challenge. However, they were driven by the belief that AI could eliminate the tedious busywork burdening modern knowledge workers. By connecting to existing data warehouses, Supersimple allows users to interact with data using a no-code UI or plain English, thanks to its state-of-the-art AI.

“We’ve seen just how critical it is for people to deeply understand the data they’re looking at,” Marko emphasized. “That’s why we’ve made explainability a core feature of our technology.”

The team’s efforts were recently bolstered by $2.2 million in funding from prominent VCs and angel investors, including Tera Ventures, Specialist VC, Tiny VC, Ott Kaukver, Alvar Lumberg, Indrek Kasela, and Märt Kelder. This injection of capital will accelerate Supersimple’s progress towards its goal of becoming the operating system for companies, integrating structured and unstructured data to provide invaluable insights.

“What we’re really doing is ensuring that every person in every company has the information they need, when they need it,” Marko concluded. “Building out the future of work starts with knowledge – it starts with data.”

As Supersimple continues to evolve, it’s clear that the team’s passion for empowering individuals and transforming the way companies operate will shape the future of data analytics and knowledge work.
