In 2023, nearly €11 billion was lent to Italian SMEs through fintech platforms for medium and long term lending, supply chain finance, and equity crowdfunding, bringing the total since 2018 to over €25 billion (excluding some platforms that were active even earlier). BeBeez calculated this based on data from the platforms themselves.
