White & Case advises Starwood Capital on financing of acquisition of ten landmark central London hotels

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised global private investment firm Starwood Capital Group on the financing of its £800 million acquisition of a portfolio of ten hotels from Edwardian Group via an off-market transaction.

Following the acquisition, Starwood Capital’s European hotel portfolio will comprise 47 hotels and approximately 10,000 rooms across Europe.

The White & Case team in London that advised on the transaction included partner Justin Jowitt  and associates Paul Oumade-Singh and Safa Azeem.
