Amsterdam-based Orient Growth Ventures, an investment firm, announced on Thursday that it has announced the closing of its second fundraising for its second fund — Orient Growth Fund II, at $90M (approximately €83.7M).
Orient Growth Fund II is backed by existing and new Limited Partners (LPs), including European high-net-worth individuals, (tech) entrepreneurs, and family offices across Europe and Singapore.
With Fund II, The Dutch investment firm will continue to focus on selecting top-tier venture capital managers in India and Southeast Asia.
The Orient Growth Fund II is significantly larger than its predecessor, Orient Growth Fund I, which raised $25M (approximately €23M) in 2020.
The Orient Growth Fund II was successfully raised due to the economic resilience in India and Southeast Asia, driven by favourable demographics, socioeconomic trends, and increasing digital adoption.

Orient Growth Ventures: Focused on funding the next wave of innovation
Founded in 2019, Orient Growth Ventures is a Netherlands-based venture capital firm that specialises in the selection of technology-focused venture capital funds in Southeast Asia and India.
The VC firm aims to bridge the gap between European investors and the Indian and Southeast Asian VC ecosystem, supporting innovative young tech(-enabled) companies in the region.
To date, Orient Growth Ventures has backed over 20 funds from Indian and Southeast Asian VCs, including TNB Aura (SG), Jungle Ventures (SG), Blume Ventures (IN), AC Ventures (ID), AVV (VN), and Foxmont Capital Partners (PH).
