Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Cobepa on its acquisition of a majority stake in Smart SD, a distributor of solutions in camera security, access control, intrusion and fire detection.
“The White & Case team advised our longstanding client Cobepa on the various corporate and finance aspects of this important transaction,” said White & Case partner Thierry Bosly, who co-led the Firm’s deal team. “Smart SD is an innovative player, with a business model focused on a digital added value model.”
The current shareholders of SmartSD, including Smile Invest and the founding managers, will reinvest in the acquisition structure. The financing is provided by Park Square Capital and SMBC.
