Rhize Capital and BCA Banca (part of IBL Banca) invested in a real estate-backed securitization that will provide two funds that Castello manages and the sponsor Proprium Capital Partners with the resources for the development of two Students Houses in Milan (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Rhize Capital vehicle that Kinetic Capital and private equity Kayne Anderson Real Estate (a subsidiary of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors) created and is part of The Dot Group, an investor in the Students Housing sector. BCA Banca and Rhize Capital subscribed a 100 million euros worth partly paid note. Castello acquired an area of 8000 sqms in Bovisa area from Euromilano and another land in Preocotto area from an undisclosed vendor. Collegiate AC Group will manage the houses Collegiate Milan North (695 people) and the Bovisa’s (470 persons by 2025/26 academic year). Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria assisted BCA Banca and Rhize Capital. DLA Piper advised Castello and Proprium Capital Partners. Steve Grant is the ceo of Kinetic Capital. David Selznick is the cio of Kayne Anderson Real Estate.
All Star, a vehicle of Blackstone that Kryalos manages, sold iconic Milan building Palazzo di Fuoco to Corum AM (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The transaction is worth 70 million euros, market rumours say. Dils e Cushman & Wakefield acted as advisor. Kryalos received assistance from PGLex, FiveLex Studio Legale e Tributario and EY. Architect Giulio Minoletti carried on the project of 15000 sqms big Palazzo di Fuoco and GBPA Architects carried on the refurbishing. The building has a BREEAM-IN-USE Excellent certification and applied for a LEED Platinum.
Stone 18, part of Green Stone of which Pictet Real Estate Capital Elevation Fund owns the majority, acquired a 6000sqms building of 10 floors in Milan city centre (Piazza Missori area) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, JLL, BLV – Belvedere & Partners, and PedersoliGattai assisted Green. Gianni & Origoni advised Pictet Real Estate. Domenico Cefaly is the ceo and founder of Green Stone.
D-Marin, a Greek premium services supplier for seaports that is a portfolio company of CVC Capital Partners, signed a partnership with Italian megayachts maker Azimut Benetti for developing a network luxury ports (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Azimut belongs to the Vitelli Family, PIF-Public Investment Fund (33% since 2023) and Tamburi Investment Partners (8.09%). D-Marin also signed an agreement with Gruppo Cozzi Parodi for managing the seaports of Marina degli Aregai and Marina di San Lorenzo (Imperia area). Azimut Benetti received assistance from Weigmann Studio Legale. D-Marin hired Latham & Watkins, Sanzo Vascello, Jacobacci e associati, Facchini Rossi Michelutti and Ganado Advocates.
Stockholm-listed Investment AB Latour, a firm that the Douglas Med Bolag Family controls, acquired 51% of Eelectron, an Italian provider of appliances for smart building, energy efficiency and leisure, through the subsidiary Bemsiq (see here a previous post by BeBeez). As part of the transaction, Eelectron acquired German competitor IPAS. Chiomenti assisted Latour. The vendors retained Proxima Advisory. Eelectron and IPAS will generate aggregate sales of 26 million euros.
Sephirot awarded Altana with the concession for leasing and mmanaging Fifteenth century building Palazzo Molin Erizzo, along Canal Grande(see here a previous post by BeBeez). Altana belongs to Vincenzo Vedani which hired Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati. Sephirot retained Giovannelli, Masi, Cecconi & Associati and Galli & Partners.
