ALKemist Bio raised 6.9 million euros from Claris Ventures, LIFTT, Club Degli Investitori, Simon Fiduciaria (Ersel Group), and Italian Angels for Growth (IAG) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Roberto Chiarle is the company’s founder.
OhmSpace, a startup operating in the aerospace sector, raised 1.2 million euros from Scientifica Venture Capital, Innova Venture, Galaxia, CDP Venture Capital, and Obloo Venture Factory (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Hi.lex Avvocati Associati assisted the investors while OhmSpace retained Laward. Federico Romei (ceo) is the founder of OhmSpace that will invest the raised proceeds in R&D and its organic development.
Excellis, an Italian minority investor in startups that Italian researchers founded abroad, closed a capital increase (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Loris Lanzellotti and Alberto Emprin founded Excelliss which already supported D-Orbit, Electra Vehices and NewCleo.
Materias, a venture builder and incubator for advanced materials, launched a capital increase that attracted the resources of Multiversity, an e-learning firm of CVC Capital Partners that will appoint a board member (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Luigi Nicolais and Caterina Meglio founded Materias in 2016. The company also belongs to Dompé Group (which invested 3 million euros in 2019), IBSA Farmaceutici Italia, MPA Development, and Intesa Sanpaolo (1.75 million in 2021 for a 12.87%).
