Rentman, a global software company providing SaaS solutions for the events and media production industry, announced a €20 million growth equity investment from Expedition Growth Capital. The investment, Rentman’s first external capital since inception, will accelerate new customer-oriented investments, strategic acquisitions and Rentman’s platform development roadmap.
Rentman empowers the companies and teams that make events and media productions happen with cloud-based software to efficiently manage their most critical resources: their gear and their crew. Over the last year, more than one million projects were delivered using Rentman’s platform, from corporate live-streaming broadcasts and wedding celebrations to the world’s biggest music festivals and blockbuster film productions. The company serves over 3,700 customers across more than 100 countries, with over 250,000 users of Rentman’s software platform.
Rentman was founded by CEO Roy van den Broek, who previously owned and operated an audio-visual equipment rental company and experienced first-hand the pain of legacy software. Rentman launched to the market in 2015 as the first SaaS solution to address the complex needs of events and media production with equipment and crew management combined. Integrated RFID functionality was recently added to the platform, along with a stand-alone Crew Management product.
