London-based Deloitte, a management consultancy company, organised its 24th edition of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2023, an annual ranking recognising fast-growing technology startups in the Netherlands for their exceptional growth performance.
In 2023, DataSnipper, an Amsterdam-based intelligent automation company, claimed the top spot as the champion This Dutch company has achieved a staggering revenue growth of 9581 per cent.
Rob de Leeuw, program leader of the Technology Fast 50 and Partner at Deloitte says, “Despite the declining economy, this year’s winners have seized opportunities to continue to grow. The changing world in which new technologies are developing at a rapid pace still offer plenty of prospects for tech companies in the coming period.”

#1 DataSnipper
Founder/s: Maarten Alblas and Jonas Ruyter
HQ: Amsterdam
Growth percentage: 9581 per cent
DataSnipper provides auditors with an “intelligent” automation platform that increases the quality and efficiency of common audit procedures. The company claims that its automation features, embedded into Excel, empower external auditors to do their work quickly and accurately.
#2 Maqqie
Founder/s: Maarten Alblas and Jonas Ruyter
HQ: Sliedrecht
Growth percentage: 4638 per cent
Like last year, Maqqie retains the second position. The Dutch startup matches supply and demand in the labor market based on smart algorithms.
#3 Bitvavo
CEO: Mark Nuvelstijn
HQ: Amsterdam
Growth percentage: 3737 per cent
Bitvavo offers an online exchange platform that can easily buy, sell, and save digital currencies simply and safely.
Besides the Fast 50 ranking, Deloitte has also announced the winners of the Rising Star, Public Choice Award 2023, and Most Sustainable Grower.

Deloitte Technology Fast 50: What you need to know
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a programme that ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology companies, public or private, based on percentage revenue growth over three years and includes all related industry sectors – communications, media, software, hardware, life sciences and healthcare, and clean energy.
This programme is for companies that have developed a tech-related product and celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship.
If a startup participates in the Technology Fast 50, in addition to a place in the rankings, it also has a chance to be declared a sector winner.
Last year, Bitvavo grabbed the #1 spot in the rankings followed by Sliedrecht-based Maqqie and Groningen-based Let’s Get Digital in second and third place, respectively.
