White & Case advises underwriters on Rusta’s IPO

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Carnegie Investment Bank (publ) as sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner and DNB Markets (part of DNB Bank ASA, Sweden Branch) and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (publ) as joint bookrunners on the SEK 2 billion initial public offering (IPO) and listing on Nasdaq Stockholm of Rusta.

The offering values Rusta at approximately SEK 6.8 billion.

Founded in 1986 in Sweden, Rusta is a discount retailer with approximately 200 stores across Sweden, Norway, Germany and Finland, in addition to an e-commerce offering.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Johan Thiman (Stockholm) and Mikko Hulkko (Helsinki) and included associates Izabella Barisa, Alexander Hase, Alexander Lausev Mardell (all Stockholm), Thomas Killeen, Anniina Nuutero and Helen Happonen (all Helsinki).
