On Friday, November 3, 2023, CFO Community will host its next event for CFOs, CEOs, founders and investors in Dutch-based start- and scale-ups. This special ‘Bring your CEO & Founder’ edition evolves around two topics relevant to all start-ups- and scale-ups: governance and preparing for a liquidity event.
The legal experts of NautaDutilh will discuss the relationship between the company, its management and its shareholders. They will share the do’s and don’ts for (executive) directors, board members, and investors. They will cover best (and worst) practices and how to avoid legal trouble.
Having led many IPOs and acquisitions, the professionals from ABN Amro will guide us through the steps that maximise financial value during an exit or IPO.
Learn from valued experts
Marie-Claire van Hessen, co-founder of CFO.community: “The November event offers a wonderful opportunity to learn from valued experts in the field and meet other industry peers. We are excited that our partners from NautaDutilh and ABN Amro have again put together a strong program and are looking forward to meeting many new CFOs and companies.”
The event takes place in Amsterdam and is free of charge for CFOs, CEOs, founders and (institutional) investors of Dutch-based companies. The event starts at 14:30 (walk-in), and the first session begins at 15:15. Drinks and food (veg/non-veg) are catered for. The event location will be shared in the invite.

About CFO Community
Since 2017, the community has brought together CFOs of technology-enabled companies via in-person events. Events evolve around knowledge sharing and social interaction and are free for the invited audience.
Earlier keynote speakers include former prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende, award-winning journalist Joris Luyendijk, statistician Maurice de Hond, and former Ajax CFO Jeroen Slob. ABN Amro, NautaDutilh, and Techleap sponsor CFO.community.
While regular events are exclusively for CFOs, the November events are open to a broader audience including CEOs, founders and (institutional) investors.
