Amsterdam-based Tractionboard, an interactive platform for investors and startups to help manage all aspects of fundraising, announced on Monday that it has closed a pre-seed round of funding.
Besides fundraising, the company has also announced that it has joined Techstars + ABN AMRO Future of Finance Accelerator in Amsterdam.
“We are proud to have been selected from more than 450 applicants to join this fantastic global community of startups and entrepreneurs,” says Arohi Jain, co-founder of Tractionboard.
Birth of Tractionboard
Oscar Scoppa (CCO) and Arohi Jain (CEO) met at a startup studio in Utrecht. Oscar had quit his job to become an entrepreneur, while Arohi had closed her previous business to launch a new tech endeavour.
Arohi spent many months updating potential investors on her startup’s progress through emails, calls, and meetings, which took up a lot of time and distracted her from growing the company. To overcome this obstacle, she decided to use a crowdfunding platform for fundraising and spent almost ten months building relationships with investors before finally securing VC funding.
While studying entrepreneurship, Oscar noticed that many startup founders struggled to obtain funding and establish sustainable business growth.
During a casual conversation, Oscar and Arohi conceived the idea of TractionBoard.
Their mission was to create a solution that would streamline the fundraising process, enhance investor relationships through data-driven approaches, and ultimately make it more efficient for startup founders.
Tractionboard: One place for all fundraising activities
Tractionboard is an interactive platform between investors and startups to help manage all aspects of fundraising.
The platform connects startups with potential investors, helps them to regularly update on progress, get introductions to investors, and overall manage the overwhelming tasks associated with fundraising.
“As entrepreneurs, we understand how difficult it is to raise funding, and with Tractionboard we help the right startups get funded at the right time,” adds Jain.
