In 1H23, Fire Group, an Italian independent NPEs servicer that belongs to its chairman Sergio Bommarito, posted revenues of 27.5 million euros with an ebitda of 4 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Fire also acquired a 10 million worth NPEs portfolio from two local bank. The firm achieved earliear than scheduled its 2023 targets of 30 million investments. Fire’s ebitda grew by 50% yoy.
In 1H23, the median auction value for real estate assets in liquidation amounts to 0.159 million euros (unchanged since 1Q23), said a report of Cherry Brick (Cherry Bright RealEstate Investment Credit KnowHow), an unit that Cherry launched in 2022 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The median auction value in 2022 was of 0.162 million. Giovanni Bossi is the cofounder and ceo of Cherry.
