Coima committed to sell Palazzo San Fedele, a 10000 sqms Milan building that hosts the headquarter of Italian fashion firm Bottega Veneta, to German Union Investment for 200 million euros, press items say (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The asset belongs to Coima QIA Italian Property Fund, a vehicle that attracted all its resources from Qatar Investment Authority. Coima will keep managing Palazzo San Fedele which has a LEED Gold certification. Shearman&Sterling and Maisto & Associati advised the vendors. Union Investment assisted DILS, DLA Piper, McDermott, and Aecom. Palazzo San Fedele Kering signed a 12 – years lease with Palazzo San Fedele.
Mondobrico, an Italian chain of DIY stores, received from Banco BPM a 15-years financing facility of 12 million euros for opening a shop in Pavia area (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The transaction costs 22.5 million. The project will develop over a 60000 sqms area.
Italian financial services firm Equita signed a preliminary agreement for acquiring a 30% of Sensible Capital, an independent real estate advisory house that Silvia Rovere founded in 2020 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Dentons assisted Sensible Capital and Equita which signed a call option for acquiring a further 40% within two years after the closing that may take place at the end of September 2023. Equita also appointed Rovere as senior advisor for the real estate sector.
