Muscope Cybersecurity, a startup born in 2021, attracted 0.8 million euros from Primo Ventures, CyberK1, an investment vehicle that retains Klecha & Co as advisor (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Bruno Cordioli sounded Muscope in 2021. The company will invest the raised proceeds in consolidating further its presence in Italy ahead of expanding in Europe.
Taylora, an Italian edutech platform for shared knowledge that Marco Dal Colle and Marco Casotto launched in March 2023, attracted a 0.15 million euros facility from Smeup and FuturEd (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest these proceeds in hiring HRs and in its organic development.
Sella‘s venture incubator dpixel accepted four international startups for Metaverse 4 Finance Accelerator (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The venture incubator has resources of 3 million euros and accepted following companies for the programme: Dexy, a Miami-based hybrid bank; Intraverse, an Italian startup based in Switzerland operating in the metaverse sector; Seed Venture, an Italian startup based in London, for the Defi-based fundraising of startups and SMEs; and Vestinda, a Romania’s startup based in Boston (USA) that developes web3 technology for trading and investments
CDP will launch a technology transfer pole for the agrifoodtech sector through Fondo Technology Transfer (FTT) that Claudia Pingue heads (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Pingue said that FTT will launch other vehicles for the Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Computing sectors. FTT has resources in the region of 545 million euros.
Sealence, the scaleup developer of DeepSpeed, an electric ship engine, is working on the construction of a batteries gigafactory farm, William Gobbo, the company’s founder, said (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Sealance may start to sell its batteries in 2024 ahead of achieving a gigawatt of power by 2025.
