Money20/20, which claims to be the world’s leading fintech show, announced on Thursday that Estonia-based Zero Labs, a renewable energy-focused SaaS, has won Europe’s Got Access, a pitch battle for climate fintech startups.
Money20/20 was founded in 2011 and produces destination shows that bring together creative minds in payments, fintech, and the larger financial services sector.
At Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam, the top five entrepreneurs were chosen to present live to a panel of judges on the Encore stage for the chance to receive a $100K uncapped SAFE investment from Commerce Ventures.
Dan Rosen, Founding Partner of Commerce Ventures, says, “Our aim is to invest and support fintech innovators with a wider purpose impacting our industry. Zero Labs impressed us with their unique approach and their ambition towards a greener future.”
The panel of judges for Europe’s Got Access included Scarlett Sieber (Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Money20/20), Dan Rosen (Founding Partner, Commerce Ventures), Katherine Brown (Head of Sustainability, Visa Europe), and Liz Rich (Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, Bloomberg LP).
