Wonnda, the B2B platform that connects brands and European manufacturers in the consumer goods industry, has secured €1 million in Pre-Seed funding. The round was co-led by Belgian venture capital fund Pitchdrive and Berlin-based IBB Ventures, followed by renowned angel investors and entrepreneurs in the European tech ecosystem.
With the recent funding, Wonnda plans to continue expanding its network of curated manufacturers and onboarding complementary partners, such as packaging suppliers and service providers. Furthermore, the funds will be used to continue the development of its platform to better serve the needs of both brands and manufacturers.
“We experienced how cumbersome the process of sourcing and launching new physical products is ourselves. Many of the processes haven’t changed in 20 years and brands are still dependent on attending physical tradeshows, followed by inefficient email collaboration,” says Oliver Allmoslechner, co-founder of Wonnda.
Founded in early 2022 by Martin Ditzel and Oliver Allmoslechner, Wonnda aims to streamline the way consumer brands and suppliers collaborate in order to bring new products to the market. By combining elements of a B2B marketplace with an end-to-end workflow tool, Wonnda positions itself as the ecosystem where new physical products are built.
The platform offers a fully digital product sourcing solution, enabling brands and B2B buyers to discover new products, submit tenders, and manage their supplier relationships efficiently on one central spot. Manufacturers benefit from a digital storefront, where they showcase their production capabilities, receive requests, or participate in tenders. In addition, Wonnda offers an integrated messaging and project management tool that streamlines project collaboration between all parties, addressing the current pain points associated with manual and error-prone processes of product sourcing.
“Wonnda is the all-in-one solution for building consumer products, enabling manufacturers to focus on their core competencies while brands get a central interface to hundreds of factories, so they can have all their products manufactured without leaving the platform,” summarizes Martin Ditzel.
The company has active partnerships with more than 300 factories in five main product verticals across Europe. By hand-picking and verifying its suppliers, Wonnda gives brands access to a selection of trusted manufacturers. More than 3.000 brands & B2B buyers have been onboarded to the platform. Amongst them are promising startups, fast-growing consumer brands and well-known retailers. By also verifying the buyer side of the platform, Wonnda ensures that all stakeholders experience a smooth way of collaborating with each other.
