Iconic Italian football club AC Milan, a company of Redbird Capital, confirmed with Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala its intention of building a new stadium in the area of Snai La Maura hippodrome, an asset of Italian gambling company Snaitech (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The Mayr required AC Milan to provide a first draft of the project by the end of April. Gerry Cardinale, the managing director of Redbird, and AC Milan chairman and ceo Paolo Scaroni and Giorgio Furlani reportedly met Attilio Fontana and Sala and explained that they aim to build by 2028 a 70,000 seats stadium in La Maura area with an investment of 600 – 700 million euros.
Sources said to BeBeez that WRM Fondo Immobiliare, part of WRM Capital Asset Management, received from Banco BPM a financing facility of 40 million euros for refurbishing 33 real estate assets (formerly Auchan supermarkets) and installing photovoltaic panels on them (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Dla Piper assisted WRM while Banco BPM retained Advant Nctm.
Italy-based yacht maket Gruppo Ferretti, part of China’s Weichai, acquired from Rosetti Marino, and Italiabn oil & gas services firm, a 70,000 sqm shipyard in Ravenna port for 80 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will initially invest 40 million and a further 40 million in the next three years for building new production areas and a centre for R&D. Ferretti fetched such resources from its listing on Hong Kong market. Pedersoli Studio Legale assisted the company. Gianni & Origoni and Pasi & Co advised Rosetti Marino.
London’s restaurants chain SushiSamba signed a lease agreement with iconic Milan building Torre Velasca, an asset that developed Hines (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Sircle Collection, a Dutch leisure and hospitality group, will handle the short and mid-term rent of the building’s serviced-apartments. Asti Architetti, ARS Aedificandi, CEAS, and ESA Engineering carried on the refurbishing of Torre Velasca under the supervision of Milan’s authority for art patrimony.
Concrete Investing, an Italian portal for real estate crowdfunding, is hosting the campaign for financing the development fo Anfiteatro 7, a Milan-based residential project of architects firm Studio ARCHIMI (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The fundraising target amounts to 4.75 million euros with an expected roi of 37.9% and an expected Irr of 13.7% for a 32-months holding period.
Sardinia’s football team Cagliari Calcio and Costim, a group of the Bosatelli Family and Francesco Percassi, signed an agreement with leisure and hotellerie firms Accor and Snow Group finalizzati for developing hospitality and wellness areas in the stadium (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Cagliari Calcio and Gruppo Costim will create a newco that will raise banking debt and government subsidies. The vehicle will also sign a partnership with Unipol. LegisLAB assisted Cagliari Calcio and Costim.
