Albemarle Asset Management, a London-based boutique investiment house, and Eterna Capital launched Venture Capital fund Eterna Blockchain (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Albemarle recently appointed Massimo Massimilla, a former director of Algebris Investments, as a partner and cio for alternative assets. The manager i salso studying the launch of vehicles for investing in real estate assets and NPLs. Albemarle belongs to Umberto Borghesi and has assets under management for a total amount of 250 million euros.
Boom Imagestudio closed a 6 million round (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company attracted the resources of United Ventures (lead investor), Wellness Holding, Viris and Anya Capital. The company will invest such proceeds in its organic growth. Boom Imagestudio previously raised seed resources for 3 million in July 2019 and 0.5 million in September 2018. Federico Mattia Dolci, Giacomo Grattirola and Jacopo Benedetti founded the company in 2018.
VRMedia aims to raise 2.5 million euros for financing its organic development, ceo Federico Gullotta said during BeBeez networking event Investors’ Coffee on 28 October, Wednesday (see here a previous post by BeBeez).  The company recently completed its second fundraising round of 1.8 million through which it attracted the resources of Vertis. Sandro Bacinelli, Franco Tecchia, Monica Vignoni, Marcello Carrozzino, and Massimo Bergamasco founded the company in 2002.
Spanish travel agency Exoticca raised a 5 million euros round that Milano Investments Partners (MIP) led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Exoticca also attracted the resources of K Fund, Bonsai Venture Capital, Pase Capital, Kibo Ventures, and Sabadell Venture Capital. This round is an extension of a previous series B round of 11 million. Jesus Rodriguez Fernandez and Marti Guasch Mercade founded Exoticca in 2013. Since 2016, the company raised 21.5 million through 5 rounds.
Hebe Studio, an Italian women fashion firm, attracted the resources of Angel Capital Management, the investment holding of Angelo Moratti for the consumer & lifestyle sector and other investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Gea Antonini, Federica Croce and Laura Zama founded Hebe Studio in 2016, Maurizio Binelli is the company’s ceo. The company will invest the undisclosed proceeds in its organic development.
Italian platform for influencer marketing Buzzoole raised 5 million euros from Cdp Venture Capital, Vertis and StarTip (See here a previous post by BeBeez).  Fabrizio Perrone, Gennaro Varriale, Luca Pignataro, and Luca Camillo founded Naples-based Buzzoole in 2013 and received the incubation support of Digital Magics. In October 2019, Buzzoole raised more than 2 million from Vertis, StarTip, Digital Magics, Perrone, Varriale, and some employees. Buzzoole previously attracted the resources of Milan-listed Expert System.
ClubDealOnline raised one million euros from some high networth individuals, its ceo Cristiano Busnardo, Luca Valaguzza (the co-founder of Euclidea who also joined the company’s board), and Blue Financial Communication (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The investors will own the company together with founder and majority shareholder Antonio Chiarello, i-Starter, Simone Cimminelli, and Milan-listed Portobello. CDOL will invest such proceeds in the achievement of its strategic targets and M&A strategy. Roberto Ferrari is the chairman of ClubDealOnline.
Spanish real estate lending crowdfunding platform Housers is hosting a campaign for financing Housers Blockchain, its own project for the tokenization of loans (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company already raised 44K euros ahead of a target of 0.15 million euros, said a report of CrowdfundingBuzz. The transaction consists of an equity loan, i.e. a financial instrument with the features of an equity deal and a long-term loan. On the one hand, the borrower must repay the loan, but on the other, the interest that the lender may gain (at least partially) depends on the results that the borrower achieves. Housers issued an equity loan with a tenure of 12 months with a gross interest of 11%. The lender can extend by 6 months the tenure and get a further 1% interest. Housers will invest the proceeds for implementing a blockchain technology on its platform.
Venice-based e-concept, whose founders are Claudio Iannelli, Matteo Bartoli and Francesco Pannoli, started an equity crowdfunding campaign on Ecomill and set a fundraising target of 100k-250k euros on the ground of a pre-money value of 1.5 millions (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company already raised 9,500 euros and already signed agreements with Enel X and Veritas.
Real estate lending crowdfunding platform Trusters raised 412k euros through a campaign on ClubDealOnline (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Trusters launched the campaign at the end of June 2020 and previously signed a partnership with Swiss Crowd.
Cesarine.com, the Italian network of home restaurants that belongs to Home Food, will close on 9 November, Monday, its equity crowdfunding campaign on CrowdFundMe for which set a target of 0.2 – 1 million euros on the ground of a pre-money value of 8.5 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company already raised 0.201 million from the members of the network, Alessio Beverina and Alfredo Cazzola. In 2016, Massimiliano Benedetti founded the company after having acquired the brand Le Cesarine. Since then, the company raised 2 million from investors. In May 2018, the company raised one million from entrepreneurs and managers of the FMCG (fast mover consumer goods) sector such as Daniele Ferrero, Niccolò Branca, Emmanuel Osti, Marco Airoldi, qualified investors of Banca Generali’s network, Roberto Nicastro, Massimiliano Benedetti, and Francesco Conte. Cesarine.com aims to generate a turnover of 29 million with an ebitda of 6.5 million by 20204.
The Portal, a VR startup, raised 428k euros from Auriga and Cdp Venture Capital (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Vincenzo Fiore is the ceo of Auriga.
Innovative-RFK (i-RFK), an industrial holding listed on Euronext Paris and which invests mainly in startups and innovative SMEs, listed its 1.29 million euros minibond on the ExtraMotPro3 market as expected, after having previously placed it on the Italian crowinvesting portal CrowdFundMe (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The bond will mature in 60 months, pay a 6% annual yield through a biannual coupon and received a B1+ rating from Italian fintech Modefinance. Paolo Pescetto is the CEO of i-RFK and founded the company in 2017 together with Massimo Laccisaglia and Andrea Rossotti. Tommaso Baldissera Pacchetti is the ceo of CrowFundMe.
PayTipper, an Italian paytech that joined the ecosystem of Enel X Financial Services, launched Ecosistema Impresa, a digital platform for supporting the SMEs in the optimization of their internal processes (see here a previous post by BeBeez). PayTipper also signed partnerships with October, Workinvoice, Cribis (Gruppo Crif), Credit Research Italia, and TeamSystem. Angelo Grampa is the ceo of PayTipper. Stefano Risoldi, is the head of the development of services for SMEs at Enel X.
Hermes, MitBite and MedsendX received the award Start Cup Palermo, a business plan competition of Palermo University and ARCA (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Hermes received an award of 5k euros, Mitbite 3,500 euros. MedsendX received a one-year incubation award in the co-working of ARCA. These companies will compete for the Start Cup Sicilia award that received a sponsorship from Unicredit. The winners of StartCup Palermo will compete with 6 companies that received the Start Cup Catania and Start Cup Messina awards. The winners of Start Cup Sicilia will compete for the PNI – Premio Nazionale dell’Innovazione with those companies that received the award of the other Italian Start Cups. PNI will take place in Bologne between 30 November and 4 December 2020.

La  StartCup Lombardia is the competition for startups that the Lombardy Universities launched together with Regione Lombardia – Direzione Generale Sviluppo Economico and the acceleration support of Deloitte. The sponsors rewarded Safer (7k euros from BCC Milano), Bi-Rex and ReHouseIT (acceleration programme of Joule Energizer and a grant of 15k euros each). VoiceMed received the 25k euros Covid19 award. The winners of StartCup Piemonte Valle d’Aosta 2020, a business plan competition that the incubators I3P, 2i3T and Enne3 launched, rewarded U-Care Medical with 10k euros, Alba Robot with 7,500 euros and special mention for social innovation, DDC Drug discovery Development and Clinics with 5k euros. Nanoremediation 4.0, Health Triage and Inferendo gained the right to compete for the PNI. The sponsors of StartCup Piemonte Valle d’Aosta rewarded Le-gowall (7,500 euros from the Valle d’Aosta Region), Horizon (7,500 euros from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo), PipeIn and Sunspeker (6k euros in services from Metroconsult). Mechané received the CLAB Torino award from Contamination Lab Torino, while Cocooners received the special mention for equal opportunities. Intravides received the 5k euros Covid19 award from the Piemonte Region.
