Enerbrain raised 2 million euros through a series A round which was subscribed by the Italian utility Iren together with Gellify, an innovation platform for B2B software companies; Controlli, an Italian valves producer; and Boost Heroes, a venture capital company (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Enerbrain had just won B Heroes, a tv reality show dedicated to startups and venture capitalists, earning a 500k euros award offered by Boost Heroes itself. Enerbrain will invest such proceeds in its international expansion and R&D. Filippo Ferraris, Giuseppe Giordano, Marco Martellacci, and Francesca Freyra founded Enerbrain in 2015. Enerbrain aims to expand its operations in Japan, Spain and the Middle East.
Milan based business angel Seed Money acquired 6% of GimmeLike, the app that links millennials to SMEs through market surveys (see here a previous post by BeBeez). GimmeLike was born in August 2018 and pays users that post comments about companies, products, services, and current affairs. Seed Venture Partners, a team of seasoned business angels, created Seed Money in 2016. The incubator last November 2018 raised 184,200 euros through an equity crowdfunding campaign on CrowdFundMe, that had a target of 50,000 euros and a pre-money evaluation of one million.
Tifosy, the London-based crowdfunding startup platform for sport, launched an equity crowdfunding campaign for raising 2 million pounds in exchange of 11.3% of its capital and for a pre-money valuation of 15.7 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Fausto Zanetton (previously media, tech, and sport banker at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley) and Italian former footballer Gianluca Vialli founded  Tifosy in 2015. Deadline for investing in the company is 14 June.
