Mysecretcase, an e-commerce platform with a focus on sex toys that Norma Rossetti (23.66% owner) founded opened a new investment round up to 2,5 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Listed Italian Mediaset was said to be investing 500k euros in the round but yesterday afternoon the media group denied it. Actually Mysecretcase acquired from Publitalia (the publicity arm of Mediaset) an advertising campaign offering in exchange to Rti a call option for eventually buying a stake in the business. However, Rti is not going to exercise such an option.Fvurther shareholders of the company are Marinella Soldi (0.7%), Andrea Casalini (0.7%), Duccio Vitali (0.7%), Maurizio Santacroce (0.7%), Ferdinand Von Kalm (8.33%), Frederick Nilsson Kjell (2.82%), and further managers. MSC aims to generate sales of up to 13 million by 2020 and could list on Milan Aim.
Satispay, the Italian e-payment company, confirmed its intention to launch a Series C financing round of 50 million of euros in 2019. The company’s ceo and founder Alberto Dalmasso had already announced last Summer, just when a previous round was still open, its intention to come back to investors next year (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Dario Brignone and Samuele Pinta are Satispay’s cofounders.
Italy’s online cars vendor brumbrum raised 20 million of euros through a series B financing round that Accel, Bonsai Venture Capital, e.ventures, and United Ventures led (See here a previous post by BeBeez). brumbrum will invest the proceeds of this fundraising in the consolidation of the organic business and of the brand. Founders of the company are Francesco Banfi, Alberto Genovese, and Roberto Testore.
