Tikehau Capital, the asset management group active both in alternative investments and in liquid strategies and listed at Euronext in Paris, has launched Tikehau Fondo per l’Economia Reale Italiana (Tikehau Fondo for the Italian Real Economy), a co-investment fund focused on the private debt of Italian SMEs, which has been subscribed with 65 million euros by the fund of private debt funds of Fondo Italiano d’Investimento sgr, Affari & Finanza (Repubblica) wrote.
Tikehau in Italy has already been active for some time on private debt investments. The last deal announced was the subscription last March 2018 of the 65 million bond issued by Business Integration Partners (BIP) to support the acquisition of BIP by Apax France.
Tikehau is also active in Italy on the real estate front, while it launched the private equity business last September 2018, appointing Roberto Quagliuolo as head of department, in coordination with Luca Bucelli, Tikehau Capital country manager for Italy (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
