Together Price, a startup that has developed a sharing platform that allows users to share subscriptions to digital services and to divide their expenses, saving up to 80% of costs, announced a new 630k euros funding round led by Samaipata Ventures, an international venture capital operator based in Madrid. In the same round coinvested Italian listed venture capital firm LVenture Group, already a shareholder in Together Price, and some business angel of the Angel Partners Group (see here the press release). In the deal Together Price was advised by Orrick law firm.
This is the first investment in Italy for Samaipata Ventures, launched in 2015 by its founder Josè del Barrio.
LVenture Group has now been investing a totla of 175k in Together Price, after having accelerated the company with the LUISS Enlabs acceleration programme (LUISS Enlabs beging a startup accelerator in joint venture between LVenture and LUISS University in Rome).
Founded by Sabrina and Marco Taddei (ceo) brothers and by Luca Ugolini, Together Price is an effective lead generation tool, highly appreciated by companies for the ability to acquire new customers. The platform, active since May 2016, has rapidly established itself on the Italian market and can already count on over 140 thousand members today, with great success among the millennial generation.
“We are very excited, this is the first step towards international expansion together with a perfect, young, but extremely competent partner in our industry to quickly scale in Europe”, commented Marco Taddei.
This is the second investment announced in a few days by a Spanish venture capital firm in an Italian startup, after the one by Inveready in Viniexport (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
