There are almost 25 billion euros of Non performing exposures versus Italian debtors to be sold this years bth on the primary and secondary markets, after more than 54 billions Npe already sold in 2018.
Figures come from BeBeez’s database, which has been just updated after the announcement by Montepaschi last week about the final closing of its 24.1 billion euros securitization (see here a previous post by BeBeez) and after the announcement by new cooperative banking group Iccrea last Friday about a coming securitization of a 1 billion euros GBV Npl portfolio by the end of July (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
