Comdata, the leading Italian company for outsourcing of contact center, help desk, back office, credit management and document management services, signed an agreement for acquiring the entire capital of Win Bilgi Iletisim, Turkey’s leader in the same contact center sector. Legal advisor to Comdata for the deal was Latham & Watkins.
This is the second acquisition made by Comdata abroad this year, after the group had bought Spanish leader Digitex last February (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Comdata is looking at becoming a significat international group after funds managed by Carlyle bought the group last December (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
The Italian group has been active already in Turkey since July 2013 when it bought CallUs from KoçSistem (a leader in the IT sector e part of the Koç Group), which was renamed Comdata Türkiye. With 3000 employees in 3 offices in  Istanbul, Konya and Samsun, the group serves all major telecom, energy, finance and retail operators. Thanks to the new acquisition the group will enahnce its presence inte the finance and insurance sectors and will open new offices in Eskişehir and Kayseri.
