Tikehau Investment Management snaps its first investment in real estate in italy. The French asset manager actually announced the acquisition from CBRE Global Investors of the I Petali shopping mall in Reggio Emilia some days ago (see here the press release).
The shopping mall has been developed close to the Reggiana soccer team’s stadium, was opened in 2007 and counts about 4 million vsitors per year with a 99% occupancy rate.
The deal, valued 87,1 million euros, has been conducted through the Tikehau Italian Retail Fund I. Legance and CBRE supported Tikehau in the deal which was partly financed by Crédit Agricole CIB.
including this last investment, Tikehau IM manages 700 million euros in real estate assets as for today out of a total of 7.4 billion euros of asset under management.
